Freedom. Speed. Support.
October 4 and 5 became days of joy, strength, and inspiration for us. Together with the Office of the Commissioner for Children, we organized a series of sports activities for Ukrainian children living in Slovakia.
A special moment was the start of David K., who for the first time took part in a longer race as part of the International Peace Marathon in Košice. Thanks to the support of the Office of the Commissioner for Children, he was able to register free of charge and begin a new chapter of his life. We are proud of him!

Younger children enjoyed pizza and then ran their own children’s marathon. Together, we talked about sports and how it helps not only the body but also the soul.
Older children joined the relay and asked marathon runner Alona Kurotová how to prepare, how not to give up, and what running gives you when life gets hard. Each meeting was full of warmth, interest, and lively conversations. We were also joined by representatives of the Ukrainian Children’s and Youth Parliament (under the protection of the Commissioner for Children’s Office) and our wonderful volunteers.
We thank everyone who took part in the organization, who devoted their time, energy, and faith.
We thank everyone who cares about the future of Ukrainian children in Slovakia.
We thank you for this festival of sport that became a celebration of life.
